Our centre is seeking an atelierista to join our team in a dynamic, specialist role. 

Art has infinite possibilities in relation to the learning process. Our atelierista will expose children to beauty, creativity, endless languages, new materials and new experiences. Through this children have opportunities to be creative, open-minded, solution seekers, theory builders, inquisitive about nature and life and view the world in a wonder filled way of possibilities. You will work in close collaboration with teachers, children and parents to provide the highest quality of experiences and expression.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Arts and ideally a registered Teacher.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Implement and support ongoing learning projects and groups
  • Facilitate and sustain the introduction and exploration of multimedia
  • Develop meaningful experiences with multiple languages including light and shadow, colour, paint, clay, nature, movement and sound
  • Ability to document a process and elevate the visibility of children’s ideas and theories throughout the rooms. 

30–40 hours per week, negotiable.
